About the Challenge

The Business Development Manager ensures the growth of Exellys by finding new clients/talent partners and securing strong relationships. You are consistently working with the Marketing, Recruitment, Contracting and Talent Development team to support a strong process for our talents and clients.

At Exellys we stand for young talent matching, developing and coaching. To support talent in their career and support our clients in becoming better in adopting talent. Having a clear interest in this field is key for working with us.

As a Business Development Manager you will be in charge of the following responsibilities:

  • Build a strong client base in NL based on Exellys Belgium best practices and by teaming up with the Projectivegroup NL sales team.
  • Being a real team player in the Exellys BE/NL Sales team and within the Exellys NL team.
  • Making sure that all sales efforts are strongly documented and followed up structurally.
  • Share your lessons learned with the Exellys BE sales team.
  • Creating strong relationships with our clients to build talent partnerships.
  • Showcase towards our talents the client portfolio and be a spokesperson for our offering.
  • Support the Country Lead in commercial and strategic programs to build Exellys NL.

Your skills

Next to being a pragmatic team player with a can-do mindset you…

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree ideally in a commercial direction.
  • Are able to identify problems and provide solutions, to take initiative, prioritise and work under clearly set deadlines.
  • Can easily connect people enabling shared success.
  • Are well-organised with an eye for detail.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch. All other European languages are a plus.
  • Have at least +5 years’ experience in the field of business development.
  • Already have built a starting network of clients that we can approach actively.
  • Can work with a CRM tool.
