About the Challenge

Nexuzhealth is a young joint venture of UZ Leuven and Cegeka. We build and maintain Klinisch Werkstation (KWS), a software platform for medical care support and electronic patient file management,) for hospitals and healthcare institutions. We are looking for inquisitive and driven developers with an affinity for healthcare to realize our ambitions.

Are you ready to take the next step with us? We’ve just started building a completely new platform that will bring healthcare to the cloud, using the latest technologies: Google Go(Lang). While we’re at it, we are also building two completely new applications on the platform, since we’re also going to support general practitioners and home nurses. You’ll be designing and developing software on the Google Cloud platform, based on Go(Lang) and Angular.


Your skills

Are you ready to develop the healthcare technology of the future? Are you the software craftsman we’re looking for?

  • You want to take ownership of your projects and welcome the freedom and responsibility that comes with trust
  • You have a passion for developing and experience in analysis, design, implementation and delivery of applications
  • You write qualitative, readable code and guarantee quality through test-driven development and continuous learning
  • You have excellent knowledge of OO design and design patterns, NoSQL, and back-end system development
  • You’re familiar with front-end JavaScript frameworks like Angular and Bootstrap
  • You’re experienced in application integration and relational databases
  • You know Google Go(Lang) or are eager to learn quickly
  • You speak Dutch fluently

We build software for health care providers. KWS, Klinisch Werkstation, is our software platform to support the daily activities of medical care and managing electronic patient files.
