About the Challenge

For the Java Community at Belfius Insurance (Belins for short), we’re looking for a developer with a few years’ experience, who wants to grow towards technical architect or project leader for technical projects. Somebody who enjoys taking responsibility, who’s eager to learn new things and enjoys technical work.

Your tasks will include technical analysis, Java development and design of the functional architecture, as well as performing unit and integration tests. Your skills

As you’ll be collaborating with different stakeholders, being multilingual is important. You have Dutch or French as a mother language and can understand the other language. You can also communicate fluently in English.

  • You have a first experience in Java development (minimum 2 years)
  • You have an affinity with complex IT integrations
  • You’re familiar with concepts like XML, SOAP, REST
  • You have knowledge of relational databases (Oracle) and development tools (Jenkins, Maven, Sonar)
  • Knowledge of Docker, Azure and Azurejet Java Spring framework is a plus
