About the Challenge

Do you have a flare for sales and a passion for training and education? Do you like working with people while strengthening your in-depth knowledge of financial services into full-on SWIFT expertise? Maybe you’d like a challenge as Technical Financial Industry Consultant at SWIFT!

In this role, your key responsibilities are to deliver training courses on SWIFT products and services to the customers, using various training channels (public classroom, in-house, webclass). Over time, this role will evolve to include other consulting responsibilities as well. You’ll also be assisting the sales teams to prepare proposals and prototypes.

Some of your other tasks include:

  • Preparing and delivering a range of courses on SWIFT products and services, in one or more languages
  • Contributing to the updates and improvements of courses
  • Promoting the Training and Consulting portfolio to contribute to sales targets
  • Preparing standard sales packages (presentations, proposals, FAQs, demos,…) for the sales teams
  • Meeting with customers to map requirements

Your skills

Your customer orientation and commitment to quality is important. You have strong communication and presentation skills, and are fluent in English. Proficiency in a second major European language (French, German, Spanish,…) is a big advantage. You’re willing to travel to about 35% of your time across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. You have a proven ability to work independently in a diverse, multicultural, multi-country team environment.

  • You hold a university degree in Computer Science or IT related fields, or equivalent through experience
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in IT related fields, preferably in the financial services or a related industry
  • Experience in an education or internal training role is an advantage
  • Knowledge op MS Windows Server Administration and Unix is a must
  • Knowledge of MCITP (or equivalent), IBM AIX and Sun Solaris is an advantage
  • Knowledge of SWIFT products, services, solutions and standards and/or SWIFTNet certification are advantages
