About the Challenge

Do you love being in charge? Do you get a kick out of finding solutions to problems? Are you also interested in a career that combines both the technical and business side of the financial services industry? Then you may be the Solution Architect we’re looking for!

As a Solution Architect, you:

  • Transform the client wishes into documented designs and solutions for the development team to work on
  • Define the optimal technical solution of our client’s wishes
  • Coach the development team and review their deliverables
  • Collaborate with functional and technical analysts to deliver an optimal application design that meets all requirements

The Glue builds digital platforms for the financial services industry. As an end-to-end services provider (design, build, operate) we have developed a reference tech stack to enable modern, cloud native development in a cost-efficient manner. As part of your project assignments, you will be using your architectural skills to evaluate requirements and define solutions that we build in-house.

MORE ABOUT

Your skills

We’re looking for a versatile talent who can work on technical topics at different stages of a project life-cycle. We need someone with an analytical mind and strong communication skills, passionate about following new technological trends, who doesn’t wait around until someone tells them what to do. Our ideal candidate can work autonomously and collaborate with others, as well as guide a team.

  • You have good knowledge of cloud-based software architecture
  • You are fully capable of working in English
  • You have an excellent knowledge of French or Dutch with at least a basic understanding of the other national language
  • A basic understanding of Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, SpringBoot or React is certainly a plus

Exellys isn’t your typical recruiting or consulting agency, we’re a different breed. We are a tech talent incubator, which is every bit as cool as it sounds. Being deployed at The Glue while working for Exellys, offers a unique combination of opportunities.

Apart from the state-of-the-art environment at the client, here’s what you can expect from us:

  • You’ll join an awesome community and enter one of our Smart Programs, based on where you are in your career and where you want to go. Did we mention you’ll get a personal coach as well?
  • Next to a generous monthly salary, you'll receive a company car or a flexible mobility budget and tons of other benefits (pension, daily compensations, etc.)
  • You’ll spend most of the time at (y)our client’s, except for regular Exellys trainings, fun events, tribe meet-ups, after works, knowledge sharing sessions, etc.
  • After two years of coaching and upskilling from Exellys, you’ll get the opportunity to join (y)our client’s organization as an internal employee. Or if you prefer to stay with us, you could explore our follow-up Smart Programs as well.
