About the Challenge

As a Networking Consultant for HPE, you’ll be responsible for the design and the implementation of Campus LAN and WLAN Network Infrastructure.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Building and maintaining Visio documentations for clients
  • Driving key meeting and workshops to achieve goals by the deadline
  • Advising the board on MOC strategies and implementation plans
  • Consulting on governance, strategy and transformation
  • Building and maintaining alliance and support across the client’s business


Your skills

We’re looking for someone with a few years’ relevant experience and extensive technical skills.

  • Knowledge of LAN switches and related protocols and standards (802.1Q, 802.3ad, STP, VRRP, LACP,LLDP, VXLAN, Qos, etc.)
  • Knowledge of wireless LAN AP & controllers and related protocols and standards (TKIP, AES, WAP, 802.11b/g/n, IPS, PEAP, etc.)
  • Understanding of digital certificate-based identities (PKI) and authentication methods like EAP-TLS, EAP-PEAP, mac-authentication, captive portal, etc.
  • Experience with network authentication platforms, such al HPE Aruba ClearPass, Microsoft NPS, Cisco ISE, etc.
  • Basic HTML and scripting skills
  • Experience with network management platforms such as HPE IMC, Aruba Airwave, Cisco PRIME, SolarWinds, etc.
  • Familiar with network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, Fluke,…)
  • Familiar with Microsoft concepts and technologies like Active Directory, GPOs, Enterprise PKI, etc.
  • Experience with server virtualization technologies like VMware ESX or Microsoft HyperV
  • Familiar with Switching & Routing products and Wireless products from HPE/Aruba Networking, Cisco,…
  • Operational experience with multiple security solutions like Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo-Alto networks, etc.
  • Ability to configure and implement Remote Access Solutions: IPSec, SSL VPN with RSA or Vasco OTP solutions
  • Ability to implement Access Control Server solutions (Tacacs+/Radius, NAC, NAP,…)
  • Experience with implementation of TCP/IP & related services like DHCP/DNS
  • Experience with IPAM (Infoblox) solutions is an asset
