As a Back-end DevOps Engineer at APG, your key focus will be to digitalize the APG Asset Management business unit. This entails:

Installing and maintaining Development platforms such as Python, R, Qlik and Alteryx and database systems such as MS SQL;

Automating manual tasks using technology such as XL Deploy, Azure DevOps or Ansible;

Acting as the first point of contact for users in case they have questions or difficulties concerning Self-Service or Data Science platforms;

Organizing and leading courses in the field of Qlik, Alteryx, Python and R.

Your skills

On top of that: 

You have at least 3 years’ experience in an IT role where you learned to work with both Windows and Linux systems, and where you gained experience installing software on server and desktop systems by means of scripts you created yourself;

You have affinity with Self-Service and Data Science tooling (Alteryx, QlikSense, Pyton, RStudio,…) and are willing to perfect your skills;

You can deal with the dynamics of providing support (which means doing unplanned work) and delivering new functionalities according to the Agile PI planning.
